I am becoming a hard core fan of Shreya Ghoshal. Dint realize she was so good up until recently. I am attempting most of her songs. So heres the first one in the list.

im no musician but i really like this song n im a fan of shreya as well...wat i feel is ur missing the passion in the voice, u sound technically correct but the love n the passion which is there in this song is missing!

but like i said it is purely from a non technical/musician point of view!

but i do enjoy listening to ur songs!

since u love the mountains (can c from ur blog)...try imagining taking ur loved one over there..while singing this song...that should do the trick rite?;-)

Vidya,
Your recording reminds me of the first time i recorded a song without any echo/reverb. You sound much better than i had done at that time without reverb! Do you use audacity ? You can use reverb feature on your voice track or use the echo feature (0.2/0.2) and your voice will sound much better.

You are a very good singer.

Eternal lovers..

Each morning brings sweet thoughts .. Afternoon deep yearning... Night endless longing ... Such is the plight of the earth that wants to meet the with the sky .. Far away on the horizon is a mirage of their union..  she just satisfies herself with that.. The sky mocks her plight.. He is up above all encompassing.. With the knowledge that she's his.. He watches her ebb and flow and spill over into the oceans.. Aware of her fertility he soothes her with rain. Like a peacock serenading its mate he puts on a light show of stars for her each night..
